Descrizione
E' il più grande fra gli Alopidi, raggiunge una lunghezza massima 4,8 m. Alopius superciliosus si ciba di sgombri, tonni, aringhe, marlin, e calamari.
Diffusione
Diffuso nei mari tropicali e subtropicali fino ad una profondita di 500 m.
